- US designates third Chinese ‘teapot’ refinery for buying Iranian oil, and five ‘shadow fleet’ tankers
- The refinery, Shandong Shengxing Chemical, received over 28m barrels of Iranian oil since 2019 according to UANI, which said it wrote to the refinery two weeks ago warning that sanctions are likely coming its way
